We're delighted to announce that Happy Giraffe will be providing creative support for Royal Life Saving Society UK's 2013 Drowning Prevention Week.
The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is a national charity dedicated to reducing the number of drownings in the UK and Ireland by promoting water safety. More than 400 people drown in the UK each year and there are an estimated three times as many unreported ‘near misses.’
Drowning Prevention Week and the Top Trunks fundraising day will run from 22 to 30 June 2013.

Over the last few weeks the Happy team have been getting creative with Quick Response (QR) Codes. We feel there is a big opportunity to use QR codes to grab attention and interact with customers. Used as part of a digital marketing experience they can add real value to your brand and QR codes can be a great visual call to action.
The team have recently developed a concept using QR Code to guide people around locations, using QR Codes to provide people with information and to guide them to the next location.

Going Blue – Smurf mania
Get ready for Smurf mania. For those of a certain age, you may be surprised to know that there is a new Smurf 3D movie on its way. Due for release on July 29th, the movie is set to be one of the Summer must see films for the under ten’s.
In preparation for the movie release one town in Spain, just outside Malaga, is in the process of painting itself blue. The whole town will be painted as part of a stunt to launch the movie.
